1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Klaro Care, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. These terms apply to visitors, registered users, agents, and insurer partners.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy a policy.
- You must be a resident of India or an NRI with eligible products.
- KYC is mandatory before policy issuance.
3. Our services
Klaro Care operates as an IRDAI-licensed web aggregator. We compare and sell insurance from 52 partner insurers. Policies are issued by the insurer, not Klaro Care. We do not underwrite risk.
4. Fees and commissions
We do not charge you a fee. We earn a standard commission from the insurer on policies you actively purchase. The policy price is the same as buying from the insurer directly.
5. User conduct
- Don't misrepresent information at proposal stage.
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or probe the platform.
- Don't use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
6. Limitation of liability
Klaro Care's liability is limited to the refund of any fees paid. We are not liable for the underwriting decisions, claim rejections, or service quality of partner insurers. All claims liability sits with the issuing insurer.
7. Dispute resolution
Disputes are first addressed through our grievance redressal mechanism. Unresolved disputes are referred to the IRDAI Ombudsman. Jurisdiction: courts at Bengaluru.
8. Termination
We may suspend your account for breach of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time; regulatory records (policy/claim/payment history) are retained for 7 years per IRDAI rules.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes are notified 15 days in advance via email and in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
