Single-trip vs annual multi-trip — when to pick which?
Annual multi-trip wins above 3 trips/year. It also covers domestic + international without restating each time. Single-trip is more flexible on per-trip duration (up to 180 days) where annual plans cap individual trips at 60-90 days.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
Required for Schengen, the UK and several other visas. Elsewhere it's optional but highly recommended — a single hospital night abroad can outrun a year's premium.
What counts as a pre-existing condition?
Anything you've been treated for, medicated for or diagnosed with in the last 12–24 months (varies by plan). Declare it up front — we tag plans that cover them for a small top-up.
Can I extend my cover mid-trip?
